Iran announces burial of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Mashhad

TEHRAN: The country is mourning the martyrdom of the Supreme leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei. In accordance with the will of the martyr, burial arrangements are being completed in the holy city of Mashhad.

Iran has officially announced that the country’s Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who was martyred as a result of the cowardly aggression of the United States and Israel, will be laid to rest in Mashhad.

Iran is currently continuing military operations and counterattacks for the fourth day in a bid to avenge the martyrdom of its leader.

The Executive Committee officials are busy preparing a huge public farewell funeral for Seyyed Ali Khamenei in the capital Tehran so that the people can pay tribute to their beloved leader.

The committee has confirmed that in accordance with Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s own will, he will be buried next to the holy shrine of Imam Ali ibn Musa Reza in Mashhad. Officials say that the final details of the funeral ceremony will be made public soon.

It should be noted that the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, was born in Mashhad, and his father, Seyyed Javad Khamenei, is also buried in the Towhid Khana veranda of the same holy shrine.
