Iran rejects US claim of Friday talks

TEHRAN: Iran has made it clear that it has no plans to hold talks with the United States on Friday.

According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, this stance contradicts the statement of US President Donald Trump in which he said that the talks could possibly start on Friday.

According to analysts, tensions between Iran and the United States remain and the prospects for talks are uncertain.
