TEHRAN: Following the Israeli attacks on Iran, claims have emerged of the martyrdom of Iranian Defense Minister Amir Nasirzadeh and the head of the Revolutionary Guards, Mohammad Pakpour.
According to a foreign news agency, both senior Iranian figures have been killed in Israeli airstrikes. This claim was made by two sources familiar with Israeli military operations and a regional source. However, no official official confirmation has been made in this regard yet.
It should be noted that the United States and Israel have targeted several targets in Iran. Reports have also emerged of the killing of senior commanders of the Revolutionary Guards and some political officials.
Iran launched its own operation in response to these attacks, calling it “Operation Promised Sadeq 4”. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have claimed that they have targeted several US military bases in the region. Including the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet stationed in Bahrain.
According to Iranian state media, the Revolutionary Guards have claimed to have targeted US bases in Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates as well as key military installations in the occupied Palestinian territories (Israel).
The Revolutionary Guards say that this operation is being carried out against US forces and the Israeli government. And as part of this, missile and drone attacks have been carried out on the enemy’s regional targets. The Iranian military has indicated that the missile and drone attacks will continue.
