BEIJING: China has expressed deep concern over the ongoing tensions between Iran, the United States and Israel and called on all parties to immediately cease hostilities.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry stressed that Iran’s national sovereignty, security and territorial integrity must be respected and that any aggression could further destabilize the region.

China has urged all parties to refrain from escalating tensions and seek to resolve differences through dialogue.

The Foreign Ministry said that a diplomatic solution is the most effective and sustainable way to resolve the current crisis and that the international community should play a joint role in maintaining peace and stability in the region.

In the context of the escalating global tensions, China called for mutual respect, adherence to international law and prompt diplomatic communication to prevent the human and economic losses caused by the Iran-US-Israel tensions.
