Mojtaba Khamenei selected as Iran’s new Supreme Leader

TEHRAN: According to Arab media reports, Mojtaba Khamenei, son of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has reportedly been chosen as the country’s new Supreme Leader.

Earlier, some foreign media outlets had claimed that both Mojtaba Khamenei and his father were martyred. However, Iranian media strongly rejected reports regarding Mojtaba Khamenei’s death.

According to Iranian sources, Mojtaba Khamenei is alive and in good health. Iranian media further reported that he is actively overseeing important state affairs.
