Resolution presented in US Senate against religious and political oppression in India

A resolution against religious and political oppression in India was presented by Senator Tammy Baldwin in the US Senate.

According to media reports, the resolution submitted by the female senator from Wisconsin has demanded to raise the issue of discriminatory policies on the basis of religion with India, urging to talk to India to end the violence of the peaceful protestors.

The resolution makes it clear that religious freedom is a fundamental right and America must stand up and speak out against its violation.
