MAKKHA: The General Authority for the Maintenance of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia has announced a range of volunteer work opportunities for the 2026 Hajj season this year.

According to a report by the Saudi Press Agency, the aim of this initiative is to provide opportunities for those who want to be part of spiritual and social services by participating in various services during the Hajj. In addition, this initiative is part of efforts to increase volunteer activities under the Saudi Vision 2030.

According to reports, the volunteer work opportunities include various important responsibilities, including providing religious guidance and education, helping to manage prayer lines, monitoring screens and electronic devices, providing translation services, conducting field awareness campaigns and serving pilgrims at the Prophet’s Mosque. Through these services, better facilities and guidance will be provided to those who come during the Hajj.

According to the General Authority, individuals interested in volunteering can register and submit their applications through the National Platform for Volunteer Work.

This platform is dedicated to volunteering in Saudi Arabia, and through it, individuals wishing to participate in volunteer work can select their work and obtain details of the services selected for them.

This initiative has been taken by the Saudi Arabian government to improve its social responsibilities, and its aim is to provide better and more effective services to pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca and Medina so that they do not face any difficulties in performing their religious duties.

It should be noted that under the Saudi Vision 2030, great efforts are being made to promote volunteer activities in various sectors in the kingdom, so that better relations can be established between citizens and foreign pilgrims at the social level and joint efforts can be accelerated for national development.
