Saudi Arabia updates premium residence program: New fees & benefits announced

RIYADH: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has released a new update for its premium residence scheme for October 2025, which includes details of fees, benefits and a new application procedure.

According to the details, the program provides foreign nationals with the freedom to reside, do business and work in Saudi Arabia without a sponsor. According to the report, the Saudi government is currently offering two types of premium residence.

The first is a one-time payment of 800,000 Saudi riyals (approximately 213,000 US dollars) for permanent residence, which will provide lifelong residence. The second is a fee of 100,000 riyals (approximately 26,700 US dollars) per year for renewable residence.
