RIYADH: Saudi Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Saud al-Kabir has died, the Saudi royal court announced on Tuesday.
The late prince’s funeral will be held at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh after the afternoon prayers, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The royal court expressed deep sorrow over Prince Faisal’s death and prayed for his soul, praying to God Almighty for mercy, forgiveness and a high place in Paradise.
News of his death has sparked a wave of condolences across the kingdom and the wider Arab world. Prince Faisal bin Turki was a respected member of the Saudi royal family, known for his public service and quiet role in national affairs.
