RIYADH: The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Interior has reinstated its calls for action against those violating the Hajj regulations, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The Ministry has issued directives for the pilgrims emphasizing the importance of holding a valid permission for Hajj.
Violating the regulation will lead to instant deportation and a 10-year ban on entering Saudi Arabia as per the Interior Ministry of the Kingdom.
Authorities also encouraged the public to report violations by dialling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, or 999 in other areas of the Kingdom.
Salman Al-Dossary, Minister of Media, said that the Kingdom is fully committed to serving the pilgrims coming from around the globe. He noted that as of now, 1,070,000 pilgrims have arrived in the country, adding that 25,000 mosques across Makkah, Madinah, and holy sites have been prepared, and millions of Qur’ans and digital ID cards distributed.
