TEHRAN: US President Donald Trump has said that 100 percent victory has been achieved after the ceasefire.

US President Donald Trump has said in a telephone conversation with the French news agency AFP that the US has achieved “100 percent victory” after agreeing on the ceasefire agreement.

He said that a strong framework for a long-term peace agreement is already in place and progress is continuing in a positive direction. According to Trump, most of the points of the 15-point plan have been agreed upon, while progress is expected on the remaining issues soon.

The US president added that Iran’s nuclear material will be an essential part of any final peace agreement. He said that the situation will become clearer in the coming days and it will be seen in which direction the negotiations move.
