KARACHI: Chery in Pakistan has launched the all-new Tiggo 8 PHEV, along with the price tag and availability in the country.
It is a flagship vehicle from the brand and comes with a seven-seat plug-in hybrid SUV option in the market.
It is bound to create waves in the market for SUVs in Pakistan.
Beneath its hood is a powerful hybrid engine combination churning out 543 horsepower and 830 Nm of torque.
It comes with an 18.3 kWh electric car battery with an electric driving range of 77 kilometers, while having a total driving range of 1,020 kilometers.
The DC charger with a capacity of 40kW is capable of boosting the battery level from 30% to 80% in a mere 20 minutes. On the inside of the Tiggo 8 PHEV lies a perfect blend of luxury and technology.
These features include a 15.6-inch 2.5K display screen for the infotainment system, a sunroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a 12-speaker sound system by Sony. Comfort features include electric sport seats with ventilation.
In terms of safety, it’s chock-full of must-haves such as 10 airbags, driver assistance systems, and a 360-degree camera for utmost situational awareness.
Starting at PKR 10,999,000, the Tiggo 8 PHEV is right for fans and customers wanting to have it all – luxury, performance, and innovation in one excitement-filled vehicle.
The booking period is from January 15 to January 31, and the booking deposit is PKR 5,000,000.
Deliveries begin on April 26, 2026. This is expected to create a new benchmark for all things high-end, sporty, and tech-savvy within the Pakistani automotive market.
