Samsung launches new Galaxy A07 5G, Check specs, price

ISLAMABAD: Samsung has discreetly unveiled the Galaxy A07 5G on its site for Myanmar, an act that confirms the device, which had been talked about a lot, is now a reality.

Although the smartphone can’t be bought online yet, it might be offered through physical retail outlets in the country. Samsung had already released the Galaxy A07 4G last August, and since then, the 5G iteration has been spotted multiple times through leaks.

Design and Display

The Galaxy A07 5G has the same design and dimensions as the Galaxy A07 4G, with a large 6.7-inch LCD at 720 × 1600 pixels. The panel has a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 800 nits. The dimensions of the product are 167.4 × 77.4 × 8.2mm, and its weight is 199 grams.

Light Violet and black are the color options that Samsung will make available for the phone. It also has an IP54 rating that certifies it as being resistant to dust and splashes.

Internals and Software Samsung’s web page indicates that the Galaxy A07 5G is available in configurations of 4GB or 6GB RAM and also supports a microSD card extender for storage. Along with the long-term software support, Samsung commits to six major Android updates and six years of security updates.

From past leaks and rumors, the device is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, have 128GB of internal storage, and run on Android 16. These specs have yet to be posted on Samsung’s website.

Cameras

A dual rear camera system comprising a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth lens is featured in the Galaxy A07 5G. The device has a camera with an 8MP resolution dedicated to selfies and video calls on the front side.

Battery and Pricing

This gadget is equipped with a massive 6,000 mAh battery. Samsung has not disclosed any information regarding charging speed on its website, but judging from what Samsung generally has for its low-end phones, it is not going to be higher than 25W or maybe even less.
