SEOUL: Details of Samsung’s forthcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, have leaked online.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra leaks showcase a luxurious titanium frame, cutting-edge performance technology, and sophisticated display and camera features, making it one of the most powerful Android smartphones set to appear in 2026.

According to leaked specs, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will support GSM, CDMA, HSPA, LTE, and full 5G connectivity, including SA/NSA, Sub-6, and mmWave variations for both foreign and US markets.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Launch Date

As reported by many sources and some major leakers, the Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to be held on February 25, 2026, as announced by Samsung.

This might occur in San Francisco, USA, as the company has followed the recent trend of holding its major product releases in the US.

The news was originally revealed by well-known tipster Ice Universe, who stated that the launch date of February 25 will see the whole range of Galaxy S26 smartphones unveiled on that day.

Subsequent affirmation of the date came from respected leaker Evan Blass, who stated that it was “100 per cent correct”.

Following Samsung’s historical release pattern, it appears that the devices will likely make an appearance in stores in early to mid-March 2026.

Usually, the gadgets are available in stores two weeks after Unpacked, which means that S26 Ultra devices will likely be available in mid-March.

Premium Design and Display

The smartphone is said to have a 7.9mm narrow body and a weight of 214 grams, with a titanium grade-5 frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back, and Corning Gorilla Armor 2 protection up front.

It will also have an IP68 classification, indicating dust and water resistance.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is believed to include a 6.9-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ compatibility, and a peak brightness of 2600 nits, making it suitable for outdoor use.

The screen resolution is 1440 x 3120 pixels, with a density of around 498 ppi and Samsung’s DX anti-reflective coating.

Flagship Performance and Software

The gadget is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm) chipset, which will be combined with an octa-core Oryon V3 CPU and Adreno 840 GPU, resulting in considerable performance and energy efficiency advantages.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is projected to ship with Android 16, One UI 8, and up to seven major Android updates, demonstrating Samsung’s long-term software support commitment.

Battery and Storage

On the camera front, the phone is likely to include 8K video recording, improved gyro-based electronic stabilization, HDR10+, and stereo audio recording.

The front camera is said to include a 12MP wide sensor with dual-pixel autofocus.

The smartphone is rumored to include a 5000mAh battery and rapid charging capability (details to be verified).

Storage capacity can range from 256GB to 1TB, with up to 16GB RAM and ultra-fast UFS 4.0 storage technology.

Camera, Audio, and Connectivity

Other features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, UWB compatibility, USB Type-C 3.2 with DisplayPort, an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, and Samsung DeX and Wireless DeX for desktop productivity.
