LAHORE: Hyundai Nishat has unveiled the 7th generation Hyundai Elantra Hybrid at the PAPS 2024, generating immense excitement among car enthusiasts.
After months of anticipation and test units spotted in Baluchistan, the company has finally revealed the locally assembled Elantra Hybrid’s features and specifications.
The Elantra Hybrid boasts a Smart Stream 1.6L GDI Atkinson cycle 4-cylinder engine, paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor, producing 33kW/43hp and 170 Nm torque.
The combined output is 139 hp and 264 Nm torque, powered by a lithium-ion polymer battery with a 1.32kWh capacity and 42kW power output.
Hyundai Nishat has priced the Elantra Hybrid at Rs. 9,699,999, with bookings open for a partial payment of Rs. 2,000,000.
Design-wise, the Elantra Hybrid features a new front fascia and rear profile, showcasing Hyundai’s parametric design concept.
The exterior highlights include wraparound LED headlights, a Parametric Jewel Pattern grille, LED taillights, sloping rooflines, and creases on the side profile. The dimensions of this C-segment sedan are 4710 mm long, 1825 mm wide, and 1430 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2720 mm.
Inside, the Elantra’s cockpit-like design creates a driver-centric space, with a dashboard and center console curving toward the driver.
The passenger side features a clean, uncluttered look, complemented by a striking LED strip tracing the length of the dashboard. Other notable interior features include:
