Atlas Honda to boost output to 2 million motorcycles annually

ISLAMABAD: Atlas Honda Limited has approved an investment of Rs 5.3 billion (about $ 20 million) for the next financial year.

The company announced this in a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange. According to the company, this investment will be made to expand, automate, and increase the production capacity of motorcycle operations in Pakistan, after which the annual production capacity will increase to 2 million units.

According to experts, this is a major expansion of about 39 percent, which is expected to increase the company’s revenue and profits in the future.

Atlas Honda was established in 1962 and holds a leading position in the manufacture and sale of motorcycles and spare parts in the country.

Earlier, Atlas Honda introduced a new version of the Honda Predator in Pakistan.

The company says that this model is specially designed for fuel efficiency and comfortable riding. The company describes the Predator as a stable and easy-to-ride motorcycle for everyday use.

However, there are no engine, performance, frame, suspension or other mechanical changes in this new version. The technical specifications are the same as the old model. The new model is available for Rs 211,900.

The update is limited to a new design of graphics and stickers only. There are no changes in the overall look and feel of the motorcycle.
