BISP Kafaalat 2024: Quarterly assistance amount increased

ISLAMABAD: Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), announced the increase in the quarterly installment of saffron for about 9.3 million beneficiaries.

During a visit to the Benazir Development Center at Sindh Government Hospital PIB Colony in Karachi, Rubina Khalid said that the cash sponsorship amount will be increased by Rs.3000.

Currently, about 9.3 million households enrolled in BISP are getting Rs 10,500 per quarter and this amount will be increased to Rs 13,500 after the announcement.

Khalid said that currently 9.3 million families are registered with BISP, and this number is expected to reach 10 million by next year.

Earlier, BISP extended bank facilities to households enrolled in the program to withdraw quarterly installments of Rs. 10,500

To distribute payments to its 9.3 million eligible households, BISP signed agreements with six more banks, as it was earlier solely relying on the services of two banks.

List of Banks Disbursing BISP Kafaalat Installments

BISP beneficiaries are served through six banks and 15 clusters. An installment of Rs. 10,500 per quarter for registered BISP beneficiaries from ATMs operated by Bank Al Falah, Bank of Punjab, Mobilink Microfinance, Telenor Microfinance Bank, Habib Bank Limited, and HBL Microfinance across the country.

Recipients can withdraw quarterly installments from any ATM in Pakistan belonging to approved banks.
