Federal Cabinet meeting fails to approve constitutional amendments

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif ended without approval of the proposed constitutional amendments, here on Friday.

According to the details, a federal cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in which constitutional amendments are expected to be approved.

Sources said that no decision has been taken on the constitutional amendments as the federal cabinet is scheduled to hold another meeting on Saturday.

Another meeting of the federal cabinet will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday.
