Public to benefit from falling global oil prices: Petroleum Minister
LAHORE: Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik says that relief has been given more than the price of petrol decreased last week.
Talking to the media in Lahore, Ali Pervaiz Malik said that by the grace of Allah, the first ten days of Muharram-ul-Haram have passed peacefully, and we appreciate the Pakistan Army, the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Punjab for maintaining peace and order.
Ali Pervaiz Malik said that today there has been peace in this region, the Iran-US war has ended, after which the prices of petroleum products have now decreased in the global market.
The Minister for Petroleum said that we are active in reducing the prices of petroleum products, relief has been given more than the price decreased last week, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif immediately transferred the benefit to the people and we gave the people more benefit than the global market.
He further said that some elements are misleading people on the prices of petroleum products, will continue to abide by the agreements made at the global level, while considering buying cheap oil and gas from Iran.
