Flour mill owners cut ex-mill flour price by Rs8 per kg

KARACHI: Flour mill owners have announced a reduction of Rs 8 per kg in the ex-mill price, reducing the prices from Rs 133 to Rs 125.

On the instructions of Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Asif Haider Shah, successful negotiations were held between Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi and flour mill owners on the price of flour in Karachi at the Commissioner Karachi’s office.

After the decision of the flour mill owners, the ex-mill price of flour will be reduced from Rs 133 to Rs 125.

After this decision, the wholesale and retail prices of flour will also be reduced. It was decided in the meeting that this decision to reduce the price of flour will be implemented immediately.

On this occasion, the Flour Mills Association announced that the flour mill owners will also set up fair price stalls of flour at a low price to provide relief to the citizens.
