Fresh increase recorded in gold prices on Thursday

KARACHI: The Gold prices have surged again after a day of decline in the global and local markets on Thursday.

Under the influence of the global market, the price of 24-carat gold per tola in the local bullion markets also increased by Rs5,000 to Rs475,362 on the fourth day of the business week.

Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams at the local level increased by Rs4,287 to Rs4,07,546.

In addition, the price of silver per tola in the country increased by Rs60 to Rs8,034, and the price of silver per 10 grams also increased by Rs51 to Rs6,887.

The price of gold per ounce increased by $50 in the international bullion market today, as a result of which the new global price reached $4,530 per ounce.

It should be noted that yesterday, gold fell by $68 to $4,480 per ounce in the global market, and locally by Rs6,800 to Rs470,362 per tola, and by Rs5,830 to Rs403,259 per 10 grams.
