KARACHI: Due to the gas shutdown in Karachi, citizens have been forced to buy expensive LPG.

In different areas of Karachi, LPG is being sold for Rs 380 to Rs 400 per kg, while citizens have expressed serious concern over the non-availability of gas.

Even on a holiday in Shahr-e-Quaid, the gas shutdown could not be lifted and citizens reached LPG shops on Sunday. Citizens are forced to use LPG at a price 76 rupees higher than the official price because gas is being sold at Rs 380 to Rs 400 per kg in different areas of Karachi.

Citizens say that gas does not arrive, but the bill comes on time, LPG is becoming an additional burden because due to lack of gas, expensive LPG has to be used.
