KARACHI: Gold prices witnessed a significant decline in both local and international markets on Thursday, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.

The association said the price of gold per tola in Pakistan decreased by Rs2,300, bringing the new rate down to Rs452,936 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs2,070 to Rs387,615.

In the international market, gold prices also recorded a decline, with the price of the precious metal falling by $23 to $4,305 per ounce.

Market experts attribute the decline to fluctuations in global bullion markets and changes in international demand trends.
