KARACHI: The gold price in Pakistan continues to rise sharply, increasing by Rs 17,500 over the past three days.
Today, gold surged by Rs 7,100, bringing the price per tola to Rs 533,562. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams rose by Rs 6,087, reaching Rs 457,443.
In the global market, gold also climbed by $71, reaching $5,108 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan followed the upward trend, rising by Rs 374, with the new price per tola at Rs 8,948. The continuous increase in precious metal prices is raising concerns for investors and consumers alike.
