ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs. 700 per tola and was traded at Rs. 362,300 on Monday compared to its sale at Rs. 363,000 on the last trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association reported.
The current price of gold is just shy of its all-time high of Rs. 363,700 per tola.
The prices of 10 grams of 24 karat also decreased by Rs. 600 to Rs. 310,613 from Rs. 311,213 and for 10 grams of 22 Karat it came down by Rs. 550 to Rs. 284,738 from Rs. 285,288.
The rates of per tola silver and and ten gram silver remained unchanged and closed at Rs. 3,787 and Rs. 3,246 respectively.
The price of gold in the international market decreased by $18 to $3,414, whereas the prices of silver remained stagnant at $36.29, the Association reported.
