Gold, silver prices jump sharply in global and local markets

ISLAMABAD: The price of gold and silver in the global and local markets increased significantly today. Gold in the global market rose by $41 to $4,701 per ounce.

In the local bullion market, one tola of gold became more expensive by Rs4,100, after which the price of gold per tola reached Rs492,462. Ten grams of gold rose by Rs3,515 to Rs422,206. Silver per tola has become more expensive by Rs395 to Rs8,908.
