Govt orders 7-day decision on overseas Pakistanis’ land grabbing cases

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has ordered a decision within seven days on the report of land grabbing by overseas Pakistanis.

According to a private news channel, the federal government, taking major action against the seizure of properties of overseas Pakistanis, has ordered a decision within 7 days on the report of land grabbing by overseas Pakistanis in Islamabad.

In this regard, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi says that the property rights of overseas Pakistanis will be fully protected and no one will be allowed to seize the assets of overseas Pakistanis. DC Islamabad will be bound to take a decision within 7 days on the complaint of overseas Pakistanis.

He said that Islamabad welcomes the investment of overseas Pakistanis in ICT. A safe investment environment will be provided in Islamabad for overseas Pakistanis and transparent and prompt action will be ensured for 100 percent protection of their assets.
