LAHORE: Toyota Indus Motors Company has announced a major price reduction in the prices of its popular SUV Toyota Fortuner.

This is the second time in 5 months that the company has reduced prices.
According to the company, the price of the G petrol variant of Fortuner has been reduced by Rs 2.5 million 4 thousand, after which the new price of this vehicle has been set at Rs 12.4 million 35 thousand. Earlier, the same variant was being sold for Rs 14.9 million 39 thousand.

Similarly, the price of the V petrol variant of Fortuner has also been significantly reduced by Rs 2.5 million 74 thousand, after which its new price has become Rs 14.9 million 35 thousand. The company has declared this reduction as a special offer on the occasion of its 35th anniversary.

Auto industry experts say that such a big reduction in the price of a premium SUV is not uncommon. According to experts, factors such as changing market conditions, declining vehicle sales, declining consumer purchasing power and competitive pressure may be behind this decision.

Toyota Fortuner is considered a popular premium SUV in Pakistan, which is particularly liked due to its robust design, off-road capability and family use. After the recent price reduction, it is expected that customers interested in this vehicle may return to the market.

However, according to experts, it will be important to see how long this special offer of the company lasts and whether other auto companies also announce price reductions for their vehicles.
