LAHORE: Despite the recent reduction in the prices of petroleum products, online bike riders have called it insufficient and demanded that the price of petrol be brought down to Rs 250 per liter.

Bike riders say that a large part of their daily income is spent on petrol, due to which it has become extremely difficult to manage household expenses and save in the current era of inflation.

If they earn Rs 1,500 per day, almost half of it is spent on petrol, which is increasing their financial difficulties.

According to the riders, they work hard on the roads for hours in the scorching heat and sun and spend time waiting for rides, but their income is being affected due to high fuel prices.

He demanded that the government further reduce petrol prices so that the working class associated with transport can get real relief and can meet their daily expenses in a better way.
