KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan moved higher on Monday, tracking gains in the international market, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs300, reaching Rs424,536, while the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs258 to Rs363,971.
In the international market, gold prices gained $3, with the precious metal trading at $4,021 per ounce (including a $20 premium).
Meanwhile, silver prices also witnessed a sharp increase, with the price of one tola of silver rising by Rs107 to Rs6,177.
