Sources say that the prices of petroleum products may decrease by Rs 4.59 per liter in total.

According to this working, petrol is likely to become cheaper by Rs 4.59 per liter, high-speed diesel by Rs 2.70 per liter. Similarly, the price of kerosene is expected to decrease by Rs 1.82 per liter, while the price of light diesel oil is expected to decrease by Rs 2.8 per liter.

After the approval of the Prime Minister, the Petroleum Division will announce the new prices, which will be effective for the next 15 days.

It should be noted that on January 1, 2026, the price of petrol was reduced by Rs 10.28 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel was reduced by Rs 8.57 per liter.
