Roshan Digital Account inflows surpass $12 billion

KARACHI: The Roshan Digital Account project has crossed a significant milestone. Since its launch in September 2020, the total funds under it have crossed US$ 12 billion as of February 10, 2026.

According to the State Bank, the income in the Roshan Digital Account was US$ 11.707 billion by the end of December 2025.

Since the launch of the project, overseas Pakistanis have opened a total of more than 900,000 accounts. The State Bank thanked overseas Pakistanis for their continued trust and support in the program.

According to a statement from the State Bank, the steady increase in the Roshan Digital Account reflects the trust of overseas Pakistanis and shows their importance, which is proving to be helpful in strengthening the country’s foreign exchange reserves.

The Roshan Digital Account aims to facilitate overseas Pakistanis, through which they can open digital bank accounts remotely in collaboration with commercial banks.

These accounts provide a range of services, including banking transactions, payments, and investment opportunities in Pakistan.

Through this platform, overseas Pakistanis can easily send their money back to the country.
