BSEK announces supplementary exam schedule for matric students

KARACHI: In a recent development, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has finally announced the supplementary exam schedule for Matric Science and General Groups in Karachi.

The examination will commence from January 1, 2025, in two sessions- the first session in the morning from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the evening session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This applies to both regular and private candidates. Admit cards will be issued to students from December 23.

Besides the date sheet of supplementary examinations, the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has also announced the schedule for the Matric and Intermediate exams for 2025-26.

Tests for Class IX-X start from March 15, while those for Intermediate start from April 15. The results of these classes will be declared on July 15 and August 15 respectively.

In Sindh, the new academic session would begin in April 2025, while in colleges, it will begin on August 1, 2025. This is a noteworthy announcement that clarifies the exam schedule and academic year for students in Karachi and Sindh province.
