QUETTA: The educational institutions in Sindh and Balochistan opened as the summer vacations across the provinces ended.

The students are excited to be back in school as the educational activities are being carried out as per routine.

On the other hand, it has been announced that most private schools in Karachi will open on August 4.

Earlier, the education department of Balochistan announced vacations for the winter zones in the province, according to a notification issued on Thursday.

The vacation will begin on 22nd July to 1st July, 2025, for all the private and public schools across the winter zone of the province.

The Sindh Education Department on Thursday announced summer vacations for all educational institutions across the province from June 1 as the scorching heat continues to grip young students.

The summer vacations will begin from June 1 and end on July 31, with classes set to resume from August 2025.

The decision will apply to government and private schools and colleges across Sindh. The move is aimed at providing relief to students and staff during the peak summer months, which are usually marked by intense heat in the region.
