LAHORE: The Punjab Education Department has started new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding Leave Preparatory to Retirement cases of teachers.
Now, under the new system, authorities will not accept cases for LPR that are not complete. In addition, each application will be required to include a checklist.

In addition, according to the report, LPR cases without the necessary documents will simply be returned.
Candidates aspiring to be LPRs need to provide proofs of service, appointment, promotion, and payslips, along with a leave record from the initial appointment as a teacher to date.
