LAHORE: The Department of Special Education in Punjab has issued revised timings for special schools, which are set to reopen across the province on January 13, 2025.

All government and private schools in Punjab are scheduled to reopen on January 13 (Monday) after the winter vacations will end on January 10. The Punjab government has not taken any decision to extend the winter holidays.

The department confirmed that special education institutions will open at 9:00 am and close at 2:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday.

However, on Fridays, the schools will close earlier, at 12:00 pm.

Along with that, the special education department has relaxed the uniform policy to keep the students comfortable and healthy during the harsh winter days.

The special students will be allowed to wear warm clothing as they see fit, effective from January 13 until February 15.
