LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced an internship program for youth under the Chief Minister Internship program in collaboration with Rescue 1122 to impart working training to young medical practitioners and health workers regarding the operations and working methods of emergency response and public safety actions.
According to the issued advertisement for the intern program, the candidates possessing a degree/diploma in Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, and Allied Health Sciences are invited to apply.
They must have obtained a degree/diploma from a recognized board/council/university with a minimum second division. Candidates domiciled in the Punjab and within the age group of 18-30 years are required to apply.
Officials confirmed that the objective of this internship is to enhance practical skills and working knowledge of the participants in handling emergency medical treatment and rescue operations in a real environment.
According to the announcement, interns exhibiting extraordinary performance in the program might be offered employment with Rescue 1122 in the future.
