Punjab to ease grade 9 curriculum burden: Minister

LAHORE: Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has acknowledged concerns about the academic burden on students, especially Grade 9 students, and said steps are being taken to address the issue.

The minister said curriculum experts and senior teachers are working to reduce and restructure the curriculum for Grade 9 and other grades. The effort is aimed at adjusting the curriculum so that students face a more manageable workload.

“We are aware of the additional burden on students in Grade 9 and other grades. Curriculum experts and senior teachers are working to reduce and restructure the curriculum,” he said in a statement on social media.
