RAWALPINDI: Schools in Sindh, Lahore, and Rawalpindi will remain closed on Monday, August 26 due to observances of significant religious events, Chehlum Imam Hussain (RA) and Urs ( death anniversary) of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh.
In Sindh, all educational institutions will be shut to mark the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), as announced by the provincial government and Education Department.
Similarly, schools in Lahore will be closed to observe the (death anniversary) of Sufi saint Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh.
Additionally, In an official notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi schools within the Rawalpindi Tehsil, excluding Cantonment areas, will be closed due to the Chehlum procession.
These closures will affect all public and private schools, universities, and colleges in the specified regions due to, schools in various regions will be closed on Monday, August 26.
