LAHORE: The real truth behind the notification to extend the holidays of educational institutions till April 15 has come to light, with the Sindh Education Minister strongly denying it and saying that schools will open as usual.

According to details, Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah strongly denied the notification circulating on social media, which claimed that the holidays of educational institutions across the province have been extended.

A fake document that went viral on social media claimed that holidays have been extended in all government and private educational institutions till April 15 due to “smart lockdown” and “fuel shortage”. This false notification also stated that despite the holidays, exams will continue as per their scheduled schedule.

Syed Sardar Shah clarified in a statement that this document circulating on social media is completely fabricated and misleading. He has appealed to the public and parents to refrain from sharing any such unverified information and only believe in news coming from official sources. According to the Education Minister, schools will open as usual and no decision has been made to extend the holidays.
