As smog chokes Punjab, Closure of educational institutions announced

Announcement of closure of educational institutions for two days in 10 districts including Lahore

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has announced to keep educational institutions closed for two days due to smog in Punjab.

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab said that schools will remain closed in 10 districts on Friday and Saturday.

Markets will open at 3 pm on Friday and Saturday, all business will be closed on Sunday.

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab said that schools will be closed in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Sahiwal and Sargodha divisions.

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab said that 10 thousand students will be given motorbikes on subsidy. Due to smog, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab requested the citizens to wear masks.

The Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab said that Mall Road will be closed for all kinds of traffic on Sunday, only bicycles will be allowed to ride on Mall Road on Sunday.
