LAHORE: Cancer patients in Punjab will be provided free treatment facility up to one million rupees.
The Punjab government is providing free treatment facility up to one million rupees annually to deserving cancer patients under the Chief Minister’s Special Initiative for Cancer Patients.
The aim of this government initiative is to ensure access to quality treatment and reduce barriers to treatment due to financial difficulties.
It should be noted that the treatment facility will be available in the hospitals on the panel, while complete support will be provided from diagnosis to treatment.
Free medical facilities: Under this program, cancer diagnosis, chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and provision of medicines are completely free.
Registration with NADRA is mandatory to become a part of this scheme and this facility is for permanent residents of Punjab.
