Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) President, Abdul Aleem Khan’s victory notification from NA-117 was challenged in the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday (today).
PTI-backed independent candidate, Advocate Ali Ijaz Butar moved IHC against Aleem Khan’s victory notification of the National Assembly seat from Lahore in the recently held general election.

In the petition filed, the PTI leader requested that Form 47 issued on February 9 should be declared null and void, and Aleem Khan’s success notification issued on February 15 should also be suspended.
The petitioner requested that the results be compiled in the presence of all the candidates. The court should also ask for relevant records from the Election Commission and the Returning Officer, it added.
