Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister, Dr. Uzma Khan has filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for a medical examination of Bushra Bibi.
Uzma Khan’s lawyer filed a petition to the high court stating that Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, had been placed under house arrest and pleaded for permission for his family physician, Dr. Asim Yusuf, to examine the former first lady.
She asked IHC to issue an order directing PIMS physicians to examine Imran Khan’s wife in the presence of Dr. Asim Yusuf, as stated in the petition.

Taking on X, a PTI spokesperson shared a statement, a petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court by Imran Khan’s sister Dr. Uzma Khan, to allow Gastroenterologist SKMCH Dr. Asim Yousaf to do a medical examination of Bushra Imran Khan.
The illegally incarcerated former first lady was given chemical-laced food over a week ago, which has burnt her throat & stomach. She is unable to eat & is unwell, but has been denied medical treatment, it added.
PTI Supremo Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi has been placed under house arrest in her Bani Gala residence after her conviction and sentencing in the Toshakhana case. The Bani Gala residence was converted into a sub-jail for Bushra Bibi.
In another development, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Qasim Suri has raised serious concerns over the deteriorating health of Bushra Bibi today.
