PESHAWAR: Internal differences have intensified in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, due to which Provincial Joint Secretary Engineer Khaista Muhammad resigned from his post.
According to the details, Engineer Khaista Muhammad resigned due to differences with the provincial president of the party. He says that there is currently an atmosphere of dictatorship in the party, important decisions are being made without taking the cabinet into confidence.
He took the position that the cabinet is being continuously ignored in organizational and policy matters. Notifications of the officials of the Malakand region were also issued by the party president without consulting the cabinet, which is against the organizational principles.
Engineer Khaista Muhammad further said that if all decisions are to be made by a single person, then the presence of the cabinet becomes meaningless. According to the ideology of the founder of PTI, the powers should be with the entire cabinet instead of one individual.
He also said that there is no serious strategy regarding the release of Imran Khan, even though he has been in prison for almost three years, but the party leadership seems silent.
The resigned leader alleged that decisions in the party were being made at the whim of one person, due to which he decided to leave the post.
According to political observers, this situation reflects the growing division within the PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which may create more problems for the party in the future.
