The US and Israel have agreed to a 4-hour daily pause in attacks on Gaza to allow for the safe evacuation of people from the war-torn area.

According to the US Presidential Office White House, 2 humanitarian corridors will be provided to the people of Gaza, Israel has assured that no military action will be taken during the break, the 4-hour daily break in northern Gaza will be implemented from today.

In this regard, White House National Security Spokesman John Kirby says that this break in Gaza is a step in the right direction, more aid trucks need to go to Gaza, they want to send 150 aid trucks per day.

John Kirby says that the US is not in favor of a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel at this time because it would allow Hamas to do what it did on October 7.

On the other hand, the head of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, has reached Egypt, where he met with the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service, Major General Abbas Kamil, and discussed the current situation in the Gaza Strip.

Ismail Haniyeh’s spokesman has denied that any ceasefire agreement has been reached with Israel.

Ismail Haniyeh spokesperson said that the talks are still ongoing and no agreement has been reached. If an agreement is reached, it will be announced clearly.

A UN spokesman says any humanitarian pause in the Gaza conflict would require coordination with the UN and the consent of all parties.

The spokesperson of the United Nations says that the humanitarian interval will be effective only with the consent of all parties.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians martyred by Israeli bombing has reached 10,966. More than 28,500 people have been injured by the Israeli bombing.
