Islamabad: As the weekend approaches, Pakistan braces itself for another bout of unpredictable weather conditions.
Rain in most parts of the country, including the federal capital, and snowfall in the mountains have continued since night.
In most parts of Punjab, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, intermittent heavy and slow rains with thunder and lightning have been continuing since night. Due to which the weather became cold again.
In different areas of Punjab, including Murree, Galiat, Hafizabad, Multan, Chakwal, Jalalpur Bhattian, Faisalabad, Chiniot, rain is continuing in some areas.
Moderate to heavy rainfall may trigger landslides in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galiyat, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan and may affect the vulnerable points during 29th (night) and 30th March. Windstorm/hailstorm and lightning may damage standing crops and loose structures like electric poles, vehicles, solar panels, etc. Tourists and farmers are advised to remain cautious during the wet period.
