Journalist Imran Riaz secures bail in Zaman Park attack case

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Lahore approved the bail of journalist Imran Riaz in the Zaman Park police operation attack case on Saturday.

Judge Arshad Javed of the Anti-Terrorism Court approved the bail. The court ordered the release of Imran Riaz in this case on a surety bond of 2 lakh rupees.

Journalist Imran Riaz Khan had filed a bail plea from jail. Imran Riaz Khan’s lawyers Asad Mansoor Butt, Azhar Siddiqui, and Mian Ali Ashfaq were present in front of the court.

The police had requested a physical remand of Imran Riaz a week ago in the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court.

Later, the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court adjourned the hearing on journalist Imran Riaz Khan’s bail application for not presenting the record.

It should be clear that Imran Riaz was arrested on March 27 for attacking and vandalizing the police.

The cybercrime wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has summoned YouTuber Asad Toor and journalist Imran Riaz. The next day, Imran Riaz was arrested from his house by plainclothes officials on the night of February 22 and 23.
