Lahore Ranks Second as most Polluted City

Lahore came to the second place in the list of the most polluted cities in the world, Karachi is on the third place.

Overall air quality index was recorded at 221 in Lahore, air quality index was recorded more than 300 in 6 areas of Lahore.

Shahrah Quaid recorded the highest AQI of 372 in Lahore, DHA Phase 8, Garden Town, Shimla Pahari Chowk are among the polluted areas.

Among the most polluted cities in the world, New Delhi ranked first with 352 AQI, Lahore ranked second among the most polluted cities with 238 AQI.

Karachi ranks third among the most polluted cities in the world with an AQI of 188.
