ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Asim Iftikhar has said that Pakistan condemns all forms of terrorism.
Asim Iftikhar said that Pakistan has made more than 90,000 sacrifices in the global counter-terrorism efforts, after the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, groups like TTP and BLA got a new lease of life.
TTP and BLA are carrying out operations from Afghan soil, the Pakistani delegate said that 48 civilians were martyred in BLA attacks in Balochistan.
He said that state terrorism and oppression in occupied Kashmir cannot be hidden in the name of counter-terrorism, and efforts to suppress the struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination are condemnable.
